My name is Aundreaha McAuley, (Pronounced On-Dray-uh) and I am a graduate student at City University of Seattle pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I entered this field with a deep desire to become the person I needed in my darkest moments.
After navigating profound personal loss and life transitions, I felt called to walk alongside others through their own pain, growth, and healing.
My primary area of interest is grief and loss—especially as it intersects with trauma, identity development, and life changes.
However, I am also passionate about supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, family dynamics, cultural identity, and women's issues. I aim to work from a trauma-informed, person-centered, and social justice-oriented lens, and I’m particularly attuned to the experiences of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients.
My professional background includes working as a photographer, specializing in capturing emotional milestones like weddings, maternity, and family sessions. This work has taught me the power of presence, patience, and holding space for others’ vulnerability. Additionally, I’ve co-managed a growing wellness clinic, balancing operations with heart-centered support for clients in a healthcare setting. These experiences have strengthened my communication, organization, and empathy—skills I bring into the counseling room.
Outside of school and work, I’m a mother, creative, and lifelong learner. I believe healing can happen in quiet moments and bold breakthroughs alike, and
I’m honored to start this next chapter in my clinical journey!
Meet Kristy!
Hi, I’m Kristen (Kristy) Betit and I’m a counseling intern currently completing my graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration.
I believe healing often begins in the moments when we finally feel seen and understood, and I work to create a space where you feel supported, hopeful, and empowered to explore whatever you’re carrying.
I was drawn to counseling through personal experience. While I was in college, my father became terminally ill, and I carried that burden with me everywhere I went. It opened my eyes to how many people move through the world holding invisible burdens and how powerful it can be when someone meets us with gentleness, patience, and understanding.
That experience deepened my empathy and showed me how healing it can be to have a safe space to unpack, unlearn and decompress as imperfect people.
In our work together, I hope to reflect the values and strengths that may have guided you in hard times, and help you reconnect with a sense of hope and possibility starting with how you see yourself.
Right now, I’m open to working with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges.
I’d be honored to support you in whatever season you’re in!

Meet Connor!
Greetings! My name is Connor Miller. I am a graduate student pursuing a Master’s of Marriage and Family Therapy through National University.
I work with individuals, couples, and families. I have a focus on a collaborative and strength-based approach with people I work with.
Individuals hold the strength, the resources, and the solutions necessary to tackle life’s problems. That being said, it can be hard to harness them. I help individuals effectively identify and apply their strengths through a range of methods and modalities. These include, but are not limited to, CBT, Narrative Therapy, EFT, Play Therapy, Person-Centered Care, and mindfulness-based strategies.
I found my calling in this field when I was young. Growing up, I had many questions about who I was and how to steer my life. Through personal study, I discovered that psychology could answer my questions. Everything in life affects your outcomes, big and small. Learning how to identify and address most of the influences in my life helped me enhance and develop friendships, prevent and solve future problems, and become who I am today. I believe the same can happen for you.
My current areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavior problems, self-esteem challenges, stress management, relationship and attachment problems/dynamics, milestone development in early childhood, grief and loss, trauma, impulse control and parent-training.
Through empathy and understanding, we can work through problems together and co-create new avenues to best live your life.

Meet Allyssa!
Hi all, I’m Allyssa Friedman and I am a pursuing a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling at City University in Seattle.
I am transitioning from a 15+ year career in Human Resources Management, most recently in the tech industry. My favorite part of my HR career was consulting and connecting with people, getting to know the humans underneath their corporate personas.
I believe that human connection is our most valuable asset. Our brains are wired for community, and in our fast-paced, ever-changing world it is becoming increasingly difficult to be in community. I primarily work from a Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) but pull from other modalities as needed.
In my free time I love to bake, watch movies (the scarier the better), play with my dog and my new kitten, and play rec sports and games with my friends and partner. I am particularly interested in working with neurodiverse adults and adolescents and anyone experiencing a life change or grief, anxiety, depression, or work/school issues.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Meet Mina!
My name is Mina Guirguis, and I am a counseling intern pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I was drawn to this field during what I describe as my quarter-life crisis. Despite having accomplished many traditional markers of success, something still felt missing. When I sought guidance, I realized there were few therapists who could deeply understand my background and lived experiences. That realization led me to become the counselor for others that I was not able to find for myself.
My clinical interests center on an outside-in approach, focusing first on understanding a person’s environment and lived experiences before diving into the psyche. I believe this perspective helps us better understand our actions, fears, and behaviors. I place strong emphasis on viewing the person as a whole and on educating clients about how the mind impacts the body and vice versa. I am especially passionate about working with individuals and couples navigating complex family systems, cross-cultural relationships, and life transitions. I approach counseling from a trauma-informed, person-centered, and systemic-oriented lens, with a strong commitment to serving BIPOC, neurodivergent, and marginalized communities.
Before entering the counseling field, my professional background was primarily in corporate marketing and business consulting. These experiences deepened my understanding of how the environments and systems around us influence both our sense of self and how others perceive us.
Outside of school and clinical training, I am a lifelong learner, systems-thinker, and frequent LEGO builder. I love experiencing impactful stories through movies, books, and video games. During the spring and fall, I am an avid (yet slow) runner. Summers are spent with my amazing loved ones, while winters are happily devoted to being a couch potato with my cats, Mango and Blueberry.
If you're ready for change and growth with a journey that can be tough and fun at the same time, I look forward to hearing from you!
